How much does TrainedTeam cost?
Free for up to 5 users, forever. Pro is a flat monthly price by team size: £29 (1–5 people), £59 (6–10), £119 (11–25), £199 (26–50), £349 (51–100) — with two months free on annual billing. US customers are billed in USD, from $39/month. Enterprise (100+ people) starts at £699/month.
Is the free plan really free forever?
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and no credit card required. You get up to 5 users, unlimited content creation, 50 AI actions per month, and basic analytics - forever.
What counts as an "AI action"?
Each of these counts as 1 action: a chat message, generating step content, creating a quiz, extracting a video transcript, writing a document section, or generating a summary. AI Spotlight edits (highlighting text to transform it) have a separate limit of 15 per month. Both reset on the 1st of each month.
What happens when I hit the AI limit?
You can still use the platform normally - create content, run training, track progress. You just can't use AI features until next month, or you can upgrade to Pro for unlimited AI. We'll offer a free 7-day Pro trial when you hit the limit.
How do you determine my team size?
Your team size is the total number of active user accounts in your organisation, regardless of role. When you add your 6th user, you'll be prompted to choose a Pro plan. If team members leave, you can downgrade at your next renewal.
Can I switch team size tiers?
Yes. If your team grows from 10 to 15, you move from Pro 6-10 to Pro 11-25. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing for the remainder of your cycle. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
What's the "Powered by TrainedTeam" branding?
On the Free plan, shared links, acknowledgment receipts, and exports include a small "Powered by TrainedTeam" watermark. Pro removes all branding so everything looks fully professional under your own brand.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing gives you two months free - pay for 10 months, get 12. You pay once per year with a single invoice, no monthly charges to track.
Can I try Pro before paying?
Yes. When you hit a Free plan limit or try a Pro feature, we'll offer a free 7-day Pro trial with no credit card required. You get full access to everything. At the end, you can upgrade or continue on Free - no content is lost.
Is my data secure?
Yes, on every plan including Free — security is not a paid feature. Encryption at rest and in transit, row-level security at the database layer, EU data centres, and Google and Microsoft SSO are included whichever tier you choose.
What if I have more than 100 people?
Contact us for custom Enterprise pricing (from £699/month, or $899/month for US customers). We offer volume discounts, dedicated support, SAML SSO, API access, and custom branding for larger organisations.
What currency will I be charged in?
UK and international customers are billed in GBP; US customers are billed in USD. The pricing page shows your local currency automatically, and you can switch with the £/$ toggle at any time.
Do you charge VAT or sales tax?
W&I Studio Ltd (TrainedTeam) is not currently VAT registered, so GBP prices carry no VAT. USD prices are exclusive of any applicable US sales tax. If this changes in future, we'll give 30 days' notice.
